Municipal Swimming Pool

May 4 Update

A new Directed Health Measure (DHM) in effect Monday, May 4, will continue to restrict several aspects of La Vista operations.

First, the public gathering restriction of 10 or less will still be in effect for the month of May so City of La Vista facilities, including playgrounds and park shelters will be closed until at least May 31.

The facility restrictions also apply to the La Vista Swimming Pool, which will not open Memorial Day weekend and the opening has been delayed until further notice. When the health limitations for the summer months are known, the City will determine whether not to open the pool.

Pool Hours

  • Through August 9, 2020, the pool will be open from 1 to 9 p.m. Hours will be limited from August 10 to September 7.
  • From July 7 to July 30 the pool will be closed on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:45 to 7 pm for swim lessons.
