CARES Act funding available to help with M.U.D. bills

COVID-19 has impacted many families, but there is assistance available. FLI_CARES_ACT_COVID19_D1

If you have experienced a financial impact as a result of COVID-19, you can apply for CARES Act funds with Metropolitan Utilities District to help pay your gas and water bill.

Current charges, as well as past due balances, are eligible for these funds. In addition, you may apply monthly until the maximum amount has been reached.

Funds are distributed as a grant, so the money does not have to be paid back. There is more than $1 million available, so apply today.

City facilities reopen to the public

La Vista city facilities are beginning to reopen to the public in different phases. Below is the latest information for City Hall, the Community Center, Community Development Department and the La Vista Public Library.
