Kid's Fire Safety Camp
Children in Papillion and La Vista, ages 6-12 are invited to participate in the Papillion Fire Department’s Fire Safety Camp 2016.

Fire Safety Camp includes half-day camps on July 21 for ages 6-8 and a full-day camp for children ages 9-12 on July 22. During the camp, children will learn about the job of a firefighter, fire safety and basic first aid, in addition to enjoying games and other fun activities.

“Fire Safety Camp is a fun and exciting way for children to learn about the day-to-day lives of our department’s firefighters, while learning some important lessons about fire safety and prevention.” said Fire Chief Bill Bowes.

Parents can complete an online application for their child to attend Fire Safety Camp, or they can pick one up at the Papillion Fire Department’s Station 1, 10727 Chandler Road in La Vista. Applications must be received by June 17. Parents will also need to complete a medical and liability release form prior to their child attending the camp.
