  1. La Vista Park Views: Fit Friday

    September 25, 2020, 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM @ Civic Center Park

The view from La Vista looks pretty great, particularly along Corridor 84, but there’s always room for improvement! We’re already planning the next phases, including the public green spaces in the area and we need your help. For a two-week span of time in late September and early October, La Vista residents will be asked to share their ideas for the future! As part of La Vista Park Views, we'll be hosting a couple Fit Fridays. Anyone walking the trails in Civic Center Park will be treated to special snacks as well as information about the planned parks and opportunity to take a survey. Social distancing will be observed as much as possible and staff will be wearing masks and we would encourage event participants to also wear a mask.

  2. La Vista Park Views Idea Brewing Session

    September 25, 2020, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Heights Draft Room

The City will be hosting two public engagement opportunities to gather feedback on the types of amenities and activities residents would like to see in La Vista’s parks. There will be discussion about newer areas such as the green space planned inside City Centre and Civic Center Park, as well as existing sites including Central Park and the Kelly McMahon Fields. The first event will take place on Friday, September 25, 4-7 p.m., in City Centre at The Heights Draft Room, 7861 Main St. The food truck, Game Time Philly, will be there as well. City staff and consultants will also be on hand to gather feedback and share site plans and renderings of the proposed connections between City Centre and Civic Center Park as well as the smaller green spaces that are located in City Centre. Social distancing will be observed as much as possible and staff will be wearing masks and we would encourage event participants to also wear a mask.
