Occupation License
An Occupation Tax is levied on every business and service carried on within the corporate limits of the City of La Vista. This includes those coming into the City to conduct business by providing goods and services, as well as those businesses physically located within the city. The amount of the tax for a particular type of business is outlined in the Occupation License Application. An application must be completed and the appropriate Occupation Tax paid annually. Once a business is registered with the City, an annual invoice will be sent.
If you are a mechanical contractor or plumber, additional bonding and/or insurance requirements apply. |
