The emphasis of the La Vista Youth basketball league will be learning new skills, improving current basketball skills, techniques, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun. We offer youth basketball for Boys and Girls in grades 3rd - 8th (players are separated into 3rd/4th, 5th/6th & 7th/8th grade). Our teams participate in the Sarpy Community YMCA league. Games are typically played on Saturday and/or Sunday's at several locations in the La Vista/Papillion area. This is a "recreational" league and players are not allowed to play in this league if they participate on a "select or competitive" team.

VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED! Please consider volunteering your time to coach.

Season Information:

*Practices will tentatively begin the week of January 1, 2024. Practices are held at coach’s discretion 1-2 times per week on Monday - Friday evenings with no practices on Wednesdays. Game days and locations may vary. Games will begin late January and end in March. Start Date is Subject to change.

     Ages: Grades 3rd - 8th (as of current school year)

• Early-Bird Registration: October 1 - November 16                                Fee: Residents - $55; Non-residents - $65
• Final Registration: November 17 - November 27                                    Fee: Residents - $65; Non-residents - $75
