Play ball in La Vista this spring and summer

Let's play ball!


The La Vista Recreation Department offers three youth programs for spring/summer ball:

  • Baseball (Ages 7-14)
  • Softball (Ages 7-18)
  • T-ball (Ages 5-6)


Youth Baseball

Early-Bird Registration: January 3-February 13 

Final Registration: February 14-March 1

The La Vista Recreation Department offers youth baseball for ages 7-14. The youth baseball program is a partnership with the Ralston Area Baseball Association. Games are played on varying days and locations; practices are held at the coach's discretion. The baseball season runs from April though early July.

Cost is dependent on age and residency. See pricing information.

Volunteer Coaches Needed. Please consider volunteering your time to coach.

Youth Softball

Early-Bird Registration: January 3-February 13 

Final Registration: February 14-March 1

The La Vista Recreation Department offers youth softball for girls ages 7-18. The softball program plays in the Papillion Softball league, which is a recreational league for girls to learn fundamentals of the game of softball and to have fun. 

Cost is dependent on age and residency. See pricing information.

Coed T-Ball

Early-Bird Registration: January 3-April 10 (Residents $45, Non-residents $60)

Final Registration: April 11-April 24 (Residents $55, Non-residents $70)

The La Vista Recreation Department offers Coed T-Ball for ages 5 and 6 in the summer of each year. The season begins in May, with practices tentatively beginning the week of May 8. Games will be played on Saturday mornings June 3 through July 15. 

Age: 5 years old as of August 1, 2023
