The first day of school for Papillion-La Vista students is August 12 and to ensure La Vista students are prepared for the school year, we have organized a school supply drive. The vast majority of needy students in the school district live and attend school in La Vista.
All supplies collected by employees will be donated to G. Stanley Hall Elementary. This year we partnered with the G. Stanley Hall PTO for the La Vista Daze pancake breakfast where they received the proceeds to help pay for a new music curriculum and 5 senses garden at the school. We’d like to continue this partnership with the school supply drive.
We will collect supplies from July 21 through August 7. If you are able to donate, please deliver your items to the Administrative Assistant in your respective departments.
On Friday, August 8, we will collect all the donations and deliver them to the school.
A sample list of needed supplies include:
• Pencils• Glue Sticks
• Colored Pencils• Crayons
• Spiral Notebooks• Pencil Erasers
• Paper wide-ruled loose leaf• Washable Markers
• Pencil Boxes• Backpacks
If you have any questions, contact Mitch Beaumont at City Hall.
Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.
