    Come enjoy a fun-filled walk through Southwind Park! Adults/Caregivers will read “There was an Old Mummy who Swallowed a Spider” by Jennifer Ward as children collect small prizes (while supplies last) at each stop along the way. Put on your costumes, pack a flashlight and join us for this exciting outdoor activity. Prize bags will be provided. All ages welcome! Registration is not required.

    Eat pizza, play games, make crafts, and enjoy having the library all to yourselves! This program is for middle- and high-schoolers only and requires both registration in advance and a signed parental permission slip the day of the event. Age range: Teens (7th-12th grade)

    The La Vista Public Library will be accepting nonperishable food donations for the Tri-City Food Pantry and waiving fees on overdue materials! Bring in any school supply items and your fees will be zero, zip, zilch, nada! Whether you have items to return or you’ve already returned overdue items and you have fines on your account, this applies to you!
